Blueberry Buckle
Michigan Blueberries are simply delicious!

Cream ¼ cup butter with ½ cup of sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth. Sift together 1 cup flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with the milk to the creamed mixture, starting with the dry ingredients. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan and top with the blueberries. Combine the remaining sugar and flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Using a pastry blender of fork, cut in the remaining butter until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle over blueberries. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool slightly before serving. Serve plain or with whip cream and a dash of nutmeg.
